Review of Alien Resurrection (1997) by Victor T — 10 May 2012

After the disappointment of Alien3, Alien resurrection is a mild succes of injecting new blood to the franchise. Is far better than Alien 3 but that doesnt means that is a excellent movie like Aliens but is and enjoyable film but its Achilles' heel is Ripley: she literally went from ass kicker to a peaceful clone and that is a terrible way to make a sequel (your main character brutally transformed).

Joss Whedon's screenplay is a little lame and predictable (strange coming from Whedon and I mean it) but what it gives are good characters and gives to each one their moment. In conclusion: Passable (more good than bad).
