Review of Alien Resurrection (1997) by Akshatmahajan — 28 Sep 2020

Following the disappointment of Alien 3's performance and the death of Ripley, it was thought that the alien franchise was finished. But this part, saved the franchise. It was much much better than third part and this movie helps you to re-create the interest in this franchise after you watch a nonsense movie like Alien 3.

Also, I didn't like this film that much but it was good. The direction was good. The story was good but the story development was not done properly and the movie jumps straight to chase and kill portion. The performances were good. The only problem it had was that it was very simple story which you don't expect with this franchise.

Overall, you will enjoy this movie and will re-create your interest in this franchise if it's dead due to Alien 3.
