Review of Alien Resurrection (1997) by Originaldanger — 30 Jun 2020
Alien: Resurrection tries to be clever and uses firepower like James Cameron's Aliens to be successful but fails. Full of horrible actors and characters throughout the film and annoying characters. Winona Ryder as Call the android wasn't too bad but the other characters were horrible and unnecessary.
We also see Sigourney Weaver return but to no avail as she couldn't even save the film and we are introduced to an uglier, different breed of alien menace and it's flat out weird and doesn't work, if anything it ruins the film.
Most of the acting is laughable and crap and horrible scene after another and the ending is disappointing. The action scenes are poor but some are okay but this is the worst Alien film without a doubt.
People say Alien 3 is but Alien 3 was a masterpiece compared to Resurrection. Avoid this junk.
