Review of A Woman Under the Influence (1974) by Carnelia G — 02 Jul 2007
Stunning in every aspect. Cassavetes may be the most subtle director ever, he manages to make everything seem so natural and realistic but uses the camera in the best possible way to make it look like it is completely improvised.
Then there's the performances, Peter Falk is fantastic but Gena Rowlands is beyond belief, she's not performing, she is that character. Everyone needs to see this film.
