I have decided that I love John Cassavetes' work. Gena Rowlands is an amazing actress. This film (like Faces) drew me in. I didn't even realize over 2 1/2 hrs had gone by. The performances are very real and touching, especially the children.
My favorite scene had to be when Mabel sees her kids for the first time in 6 months.
