One of the first Hollywood play adaptations to depict everyday life for the working class rather than the razzle, dazzle, glitz and glamour of hollywood movies produced at that time. Brando, an avid user of method acting, finally brought a glimps of realism to the silver screens, although some of the racier subjects depicted by Tennesse Williams was left of of the big screen version.
.... PURE BRILLIANCE, could watch it over and over again.
