Review of A Short Film About Love (1988) by Salman A — 20 Feb 2012
A very simple film that had so many chances to be really bad but doesn't. I wasn't blown away by it but the film has heart and these two people stayed with me after the film. The voyeurism is pulled off very well and gives you that nervous "i shouldn't be excited by this but this is cool" feeling.
The full length version is better than its small short film episode displayed in 'The Decalogue' which makes me wish Kieslowski would've done full length versions of my favorites from the 10 part series.
