I really do think that whoever made this movie, (didn't bother to see who it was) thought it would be hilarious to make the most boring movie ever and market it as an arthouse indie drama and made some kind of bet that it would end up getting great reviews.
Just because something is abstract, doesn't mean it is art. I think the main point of any movie should be to entertain.
