Review of A Ghost Story (2017) by Linda R — 03 Aug 2017
A lovely piece of art. In it's own slow and plodding way it expresses a truth that is difficult to put into words and seldom discussed and though very sad there is comfort in that. The writer makes us stop and takes us for awhile out of our day to day existence.
He plays with the idea of time which in fact may not be as regimented and orderly as we like to think it is. That idea is both very frightening and freeing. It is not a movie for those just wanting entertainment and some may simply not want to go into places it may take the audience.
I recommend it for one who may want a deeper experience even though that experience may be unsettling.
