Review of A Face in the Crowd (1957) by Mister C — 30 Aug 2007
Andy Griffith shines in this way ahead of its time examination of media politics. The satire is razor sharp, whether going after television or modern politics. The supporting players are all very good, the screenplay is nicely done, and Kazan's direction is superb.
If you like films in the vein of Network and Quiz Show, this is truly a must-see.
