Review of A Cure for Wellness (2017) by Dontbe P — 31 May 2017
Enjoyed it at first. Everything seemed well, suspenseful and promising. It must've been at the part where she got on the bike and left the place for the pub. Where the story then became dull, slightly predictive, retroactive and just didn't touch on anything interesting or add to the complexity which had been developed.
In fact, even at the start when they drove in to the place they were about discussing the baron story I didn't like that part. Like, why is a cab driver giving us the main story shouldn't this be a self discovered story from us the viewers or from the main character discovering these things slowly and making connections? Good ideas, bad movie.
