Review of A Cure for Wellness (2017) by Nadia C — 08 Oct 2018
A Cure for Wellness wanted to be a modern Gothic Horror story (Think Shutter Island or Crimson Peak), but instead leaves us with a handful of subplots that seem to point to a great overarching twist that never happens.
Basically, it's an abysmal letdown. With all of the hype over this film I was expecting to be mindblown...But Benjamin Wallfisch's haunting classical score is the best thing going for it.
