Review of A Bucket of Blood (1959) by Sarah S — 13 Jul 2007
I loved this movie from the beginning to the end. It especially surprises me how well it handles dark humor and social satire, having a certain timelessness in its mockery of art. My only earlier introductions to Roger Corman were through MST3K, but I have to say: when Corman isn't doing big rubbery monsters, he can make one hell of a flick that manages to be campy, entertaining, and thought-provoking all at once.
