Review of A Bucket of Blood (1959) by Robin W — 10 Sep 2009
This was a surprisingly funny comedy/horror. A busboy who works at a beatnik hangout longs for his creative juices to flow. He wants to fit in with the art crowd. When he accidentally kills his landlady's cat and covers it with clay.
...instant success. But the cat is just the beginning. The real fun begins when he starts making human sculptures. This movie had me laughing out loud with it's highly stereotyped beatniks and it's blundering busboy turned murdering artiste.
A Bucket of Blood is a lot of fun.
