It's political agenda aside, "A Better Life" is a good movie. The acting is decent, the visuals are better than average, and the writing is nothing original. It has a few noteworthy scenes full of emotion and humor, but in the end, this story of a man trying to make a life for himself and his son in America is pretty much forgettable.
