Review of 45 Years (2015) by Andrew H — 06 Mar 2016
Kind of assumed this was targeted at the grey pound. Could not be more wrong - this is an intelligent, emotional film. It's slow in pace and a very domestic setting. However what unravels over 7 days is really quite affecting.
Two characters shaped by their past, not wanting to hurt the other; but events see things spiral out of control. Rampling in particular is excellent.
