I read a review recently that said similar to, "I really want to like Rob Zombie movies..." I feel exactly like this. I love his music for a start, so surely I should love his movies too, right? He has a lot of passion for the genre and is a good director but this is once again a mediocre story.
Liked the Running Man type theme but all felt a bit too tacky for my liking. Gets its 2nd star for sheer effort in trying, as that it most certainly does. And you can't deny its a fresh spin on a well worn generic horror story.
