(Running Man + Salo) / Rob Zombie = 31. This movie is more linear and formulaic than Rob Zombie's better work, which isn't to say this is bad, but it feels more familiar and predictable than 1000 or Rejects.
And the twist at the end feels more like a cheat than a payoff, unlike say Rejects, which had one of the best endings I've ever seen. On the plus side, there are some really interesting bad guys sprinkled throughout this movie, and Zombie's visual style is as distinct and entertaining as ever here.
