31 has its moments. The first scene with the popcorn dialogue is fantastic, but the rest is just disappointing. I like Zombie both as a filmmaker and a musician but here it just didn't feel like he was trying at all, which supposedly is true, if I remember correctly he admitted that he just slapped this movie together as cheap as possible to make a quick buck.
It's not all bad though, some of the characters are kinda entertaining with some memorable scenes. It's entertaining, but the lack of effort on almost everyone's part really brings 31 down for me. It's kinda fun if you know what you're getting into.
