Anyone who watches this expecting NOT to be disappointed is a fool. I wouldn't mind this run of the mill space flick if not for one thing - that it keeps trying to recreate what made 2001 so special - major, major mistake.
Basically the movie is transformed into a pretentious pile of dung as opposed to a B movie.
