This entertaining film is the practical & pragmatic answer to 2001's trippy existential question. Answers some of the questions posed by the conclusion of the last film while retaining the mystery of the Monolith and the Starchild and begging questions, as to not what are these things or what they represent, but why are these things happening and for what purpose, at the conclusion of the film.
