Many people might fell sleep by the middle of the film because of its slow rythm, but no one can deny how groundbreaking and technically beautiful 2001: A Space Odyssey is. As one of the most influential sci-fi films of all times, this wonderfully directed and originally written Stanley Kubrick's classic is poetic and sensitive view of humanity, with special effects that have nothing to envy from 21st century movies.
