Review of 12 Rounds (2000) by Tanvir M — 20 Aug 2012
How low has Renny Harlin stooped as a director! The guy who brought forth Die Hard 2, Cliffhanger, Deep Blue Sea now has a clunky action film resembling more of an arcade video game (12 rounds= 12 levels), devoid of any likable character and full of explosions that has no emotional appeal whatsoever.
Better than the previous WWE effort The Condemned, but that isn't saying much. Good thing that I didn't put all my attention to it, and it was running in the background while I was doing household chores, so not a complete waste of time! A potentially intriguing concept let down by a lackluster execution.
