Review of Killa (2014) by Tanvir M — 25 May 2018
Lovely story of growing up in a small town in India. An eleven year old moves to the countryside with his mother after his father passes away. Glimpses of the small town life, including the friendships which are made and broken in school brought back my own memories of a nomadic childhood in rural Bangladesh.
Deservedly won National Award for best Marathi film and went on to win at the Berlin Film Festival. Loved the movie posters as well!
