Review of London to Brighton (2006) by Gyles W — 11 Sep 2007
An unlikely friendship blossoms against a backdrop of paedophilia, gang violence and prostitution. Some incredible acting by Georgia Groome who steals nearly every scene she is in. The apparent futility of their friendship is softened by a relatively uplifting finale.
Wonderful film but not easy viewing.
