Review of Dixie Chicks: Shut Up and Sing (2006) by Cinthya M — 25 Aug 2007
I loved every minute of it. It made me want to go out and buy a dixie chicks album. The way that the american public treated them was reprehensable and downright ugly. They didn't say anything that was remotely unpatriotic, they didn't make a comment about the constitution or the declaration of independance, but a person.
As soon as I'd heard they'd said that in 2003 I had so much respect for them, especially since I knew there was going to be some kind of backlash, this movie shows just how brave they were.
