Currently enjoying rave reviews on the festival circuit, Seiji Chibaâ(TM)s crowdpleaser demands to be seen at the midnight hour with a baying audience. In the cold light of day it doesnâ(TM)t quite measure up â" cheesy man-in-a-rubber suit action in favour of splatstick gore, and the comedy element is pretty lame.
Still, the action comes thick and fast and itâ(TM)s hard not to take some satisfaction from all the silliness happening on screen.
