Ping Ping wants to escape to a new life in Japan so agrees to carry a baby for adoption, as governed by her unsrupulous Aunt. However after losing the baby sheâ(TM)s forced to start saving from scratch and in doing so uncovers some uncomfortable truths about her Auntâ(TM)s baby factory.
A naturalistic, low key approach using mostly handheld camera shots adds to the realism of this gritty, sad fable.
