Review of Until Death (2007) by Michael D — 02 Jun 2007
In this last week I have seen 14 Van Damme movies, some of which I remember from childhood, others that I have never seen. This one, which I am assuming went straight to DVD, shows a different side to Van Damme's skills again. I didn't expect too much from all of these movies and on the whole have been pleasently surprised.
Van Damme is more talented as an actor than I have previously thought, and playing a junkie cop in this movie shows that again.
At first I thought he was just showing his age or something, but he pulls the character off well.
In terms of the moivie itself, it is nothing special - it follows the same generic storyline of most films with the happy ending etc.
