Review of Paparazzi (1964) by Amanda X — 18 Sep 2004

[i]Paparazzi [/i]is one of those movies where you can actually root for the good guy and not feel like a goody two shoes. If the paparazzi is even 10% of what it is represented as in this movie, those guys are complete slime balls.

It's a nice film about a celebrity who stands up for himself. Not a pussy celebrity trying to keep everyone pacified, because when he and his family felt threatened, well, he took care of business. I really like films like this, and well, yeah, that's basically it.

Now, is it worth the price of a ticket? Naw, I wouldn't go out of my way to see it, but watch out for the rental or the HBO slot. The movie is damn good, and it has some very sleazy things hidden inside of it's film filled pockets.
