Review of When Will I Be Loved (2004) by Amanda X — 04 Feb 2005

[i]When Will I Be Loved [/i]automatically gets the standard score of 5 for having very sexual scenes, beautiful nudity and not to mention, sexual encounters that make you go hmm. It had almost no violence, which really makes me kind of happy in a sense, because I love to see love.

The movie's element is also very intriguing. A young girl that just got out of her parent's house is learning the ropes and enjoying the freedoms of independence through exploring herself mentally and physically. Neve Campbell really plays this young girl role rather well, and it made me feel that sense of happiness all over again.

The only problem the film had was that it moved so awkwardly fast that I missed some key character development. Key being, her bisexual lover who had no real story. Yes, there is an extremely sexy lesbian sex scene in this film, one of the best I've ever seen and it didn't really show much at all.

The plot is really catchy, I won't ruin it, but I will say it has a very nice touch to it. Let's just say after the film, I felt better about myself, I was horny and I was overall glad that I took the time to watch this nice little film.

Watch this flick, this is definitely a couples film. Guys, if you have women with open minds and good taste, I suggest this flick, it just may get you laid.
