Review of Find Me Guilty (2006) by Amanda X — 11 Dec 2006
Yes, It's been almost 6 months since I have breathed on this site. I came back because I'm feeling a little (just a little) better than the last time I was here.
I am also going back to dial-up next year (fuck). This sucks, but I guess I can't complain. Getting married, buying land, moving out. Life rolls on. I'm in college now, I have a 4.0 so far. Everything is hitching up perfectly now. It's kind of scary.
Anyhow, a movie review!

Vin Diesel is a sexy devil, but his sexiness failed to overtake his sheer skill in acting in this mafia related comic film. It was based on a true story and I must say, the story is good. A guy loves his mob family and he goes to jail to protect them from incarceration by refusing to rat out to the FBI.
The movie focuses on loyalty, friendship, racism and desperation. It manages to be funny from time to time as well. I would say that the main focus here is the message that, just because someone looks like a crook, it doesn't mean they're crooks. Oddly enough though, our main characters were truly crooks.
I loved the movie, it was a break from his last movies which really seem tired to me now.
