Review of Noriko's Dinner Table (2005) by Jason J — 06 Nov 2008
Fabulous sequel to Suicide Club which finds a young girl alienated and misunderstood by her parents, running away from home to Tokyo to hook up with a friend she's made online. But by doing this she joins a sort of cult that brainwashes her.
Soon her younger sister joins her. As time passes on both girls lose their sense of reality but their father is hot on their trail and determined to snatch them from this bizarre club. This is a brilliant psychological drama and I'd say it's better than Suicide Club.
It's a bit complex but really interesting. I liked it very much.
