It's a very David Lynchian stylistic surrealist film with lots of long takes on strange objects or setting and loud, long blank noises like in Eraserhead and odd ball characters that may pop up only for a little bit.

Gregg Turkington gives an excellent performance as this traveling stand up comedian with a very odd look to him and based on one of his own recurring characters that has appeared in many of Turkington's real life projects.

Tye Sheridan is excellent as always and steals the show as a young performer on the road. John C. Reilly is great as always and Michael Cera has an odd appearance but makes the most of it. It's really an interesting fever dream of a movie like David Lynch's best work so if you are into David Lynch you'll be into this.
