Review of Zulu Dawn (1979) by Jesse T — 08 May 2009
Arrogant politicians, not understanding anything about other peoples' cultures, who have somebody elses country invaded to have regime change inflicted (despite the fact things in their own country are not so good).
Then when it all goes wrong the soldiers in the field are the ones who suffer. Hmmm. Sounds familiar. The only difference was that the government back then fell as a result. Although it was maybe a bit overlong it showed what happened in a fairly honest way.
As somebody below said the great, open countryside was breathtaking.
