Ignore the overly harsh reviews. Honestly, this movie is true to the first and everything I expected. The action scenes were filmed beautifully, it pays respect to previous zombie films and even shout outs flaws with the zombie universe.
The movie is a bit self aware and the comedy is very 2009, but it works for the movie and does it justice! There's a good amount of shout outs to the first films and all in all it's a fantastic movie.
