Review of Zardoz (1974) by Brad B — 28 Jul 2008
This movie is so over the top, it's ridiculous. The concept is so far out there I find it hard to believe that this movie isn't more well known. It's sorta like Waterworld meets the Wizard of Oz meets Barbarella meets Conan the Barbarian.
You pretty much have to see this movie to believe it. I have no problems with Sean Connery being half naked throughout the entire picture either, but if you do I feel sorry for you. Not a five-star movie by any means but certainly better and 100% more original than anything Hollywood churns out these days.
