Review of Zardoz (1974) by Adam B — 20 Apr 2009
Big on concept, but inept at story telling. Zardoz focuses too much on Connery wondering around in his underwear and not enough on it's characters and what really motivates them. All we usually get in pretentious bickering between immortals and a floating head that vomits out rifles.
It doesn't take long before I understand why they want to die so badly.
