Review of Zardoz (1974) by Jeff B — 23 Nov 2010

Okay, take note that this rating only reflects the quality of the film and not how viewable it is. This is now my favorite bad movie. It starts out with a bang (with a great quote from Zardoz himself) and steadily builds steam.

That is, if you consider "building steam" to equate to the director making a bad situation and making it worse, scene-by-scene, until you've progressed so far into the absurdly bad that you've actually become good.

I found myself actually wanting someone to remake this film (scene-for-scene, of course) because it's that enjoyable.
