Review of Zardoz (1974) by Craig C — 03 Jul 2013
In the distant future, Sean Connery wears red undies and a ponytail while trying to escape a psychedelic hippy commune. Looking every bit like 1973, with auras, crystals and guns, Boorman tries to make a Deep Philosophical Statement and ends up with a comedy demanding a riff track or a laugh track.
Not for the comically impaired.
