Review of You've Got Mail (1998) by Jobin B — 29 Jul 2009
Pretty much the same general mold as Sleepless in Seattle, but much less likable. Meg Ryan's character is about the only one of any real interest, and even that's a stretch--everyone else is just irritating.
some of the dialogue is admittedly pretty sharp and amusing, but the overall story is very unimpressive with a typical "happy ending that probably shouldn't be so happy if any attention at all was paid to realism.
" oh well. such are the ways of chick flicks, I suppose.
