Review of Anna and the Apocalypse (2018) by Tvjerry — 16 Dec 2018

This movie tackles 3 genres (high school rom com, holiday musical and zombie invasion), which sets it up for 3X the disappointment. The trite love trope (they're best friends since childhood, but he's developed a crush on her) isn't taken in any new directions.

The songs are bland pop and their staging never comes close to the creativity of "Glee." Finally, anyone who's seen even one episode of "Walking Dead" will have witnessed better zombie action.

Kudos for such a daring, original concept, but sadly, nothing good came out of it.
