I just rewatched Youth and changed my score from an 8 to a 9. Youth is surreal, dreamlike, beautiful, poignant, mesmerizing, and melancholy. Paolo Sorrentino has created a moving film unlike any other you will see this or any other year.
Mr. Sorrentino is quickly becoming one of the best directors to establish himself in the last 15 years. In addition, all of the actors in Youth turn in superb performances. Youth is a beautifully haunting film that will stun you and linger in your mind for some time after you leave the theater.
