Review of Your Sister's Sister (2011) by Eric D — 13 Apr 2012
One of the best films I've seen in a long time. The chemistry between the characters is so true that you are routing for all of them despite their moral missteps. The storyline keeps you on your toes at all times and even the slower moments are filled with emotional suspense as you are constantly worried about what each character might reveal by voice or even by a look or a breath.
Each of the three actors brings an amazing amount of honesty and urgency to their character. I looked around the theater and saw smiles plastered on just about everyone's face for almost every minute.
By the end, you are left with a very satisfying feeling. One of those rare films where laughs and tears are constantly competing for your emotional attention. This is why I love indies - you don't need a $10 million dollar chase scene to get your heart racing.
