Mark Duplass is on a role. This is his second indie of the summer -- the other is Safety Not Guaranteed -- and he can't seem to make a bad movie. This is not your typical romantic comedy. In fact, I would venture to say that there isn't much romantic or comedic about the script, as wonderful as it is.
But the principle leads are spot on, and the shared chemistry of the three works the duration of the entire film.
