There are some annoying aspects to this film - i.e., it's far too improvised - but all in all it's an earnest little indie with heart. Even though it suffers from some writing deficiencies (does anyone in this movie have a job? How do they afford this amazing island house?) it is small enough to feel genuine.
The three leads are able to hold up an entire movie on their own. These little ones are nice, once in a while.
