Review of Young Mr. Lincoln (1939) by Martin T — 19 Aug 2009
This was an interesting look at a man who I have always seen portrayed as a President, and it was neat to see him as just an upstart young lawyer. I tend to like trial movies (like 12 Angry Men), but it seemed like this one spent too much unnecessary time setting up the story, which wasn't even really about Lincoln.
It almost seemed like a project where they wanted to be creative but also had to include so many facts about Lincoln.
