Henry Fonda and John Ford are in top form with this under-rated classic, especially thanks to Lamar Trotti's authentic screenplay. Fonda's Lincoln is maybe one of my favorite performances of his - he makes the character all his own without compromising an inkling of Honest Abe's integrity.
