Look, if you don't like Woody Allen for personal reasons, or if you just don't "get" his movies, then skip this film. If you appreciate the man's work then check this out. The critics almost had me believing he'd finally made a bad movie.
This is very typical Woody Allen, same style as always. All talk, no explosions, and no gore. The story could have used one or two more twists, but then again he is an aging writer and is probably not as interested in being clever as a younger writer would.
All in all, woody hasn't changed, and that's good.
