Jonny Greenwood + Lynne Ramsey + Joaquin Phoenix is an unbeatable combination. The feeling of dread and fear is overwhelming, as real as Joaquin/Joe's PTSD. He takes his character even further out than he did in The Master, tragic and terrifying.
The savior that can't begin to save himself. Maybe not a first date film...
